Today, I've been wandering

Today I've been wandering along the shore and it's mad, completely mad.

I'm only too happy to feed the little buggeres that fly overhead when they come along and a wee snapshot here and there is lovely but who is the worker and just who is the daft bugger that feeds them all, free of charge. I think that there's a problem here.

They are all particularly parasitical. Don't get me wrong, it's lovely to see them but if they vanished we would miss them terribly.

The question has to be - who is the feeder and who is the scrounging, parasitical eater - with a smile on his face, of course 

Unfortunately

Well, the Christmas cum New Year bash is almost over unfortunately. Come Wednesday and I'll have to jump on to the boat in Aberdeen and paddle my way back up north. I won't see the love in my life for two or three months or so but there is the phone, emails etc to keep us in contact so we'll get by. Maybe when I get home to Hillswick the neighbours will recognise me, you never know.

I get home on the Thursday and start back at Uni on the Friday. Looking forward to that as it is really good at keeping me out of trouble. With any luck I'll pick up some useful info too, here's hoping.

There has been a bit of thought regarding me moving down to the central belt of Scotland again, it was where I was born so I'll keep my eyes open for a cheap flat. Not as beautiful as Shetland but much more homeland.

New Year at last!!!

The sun is going down and New Years Eve is coming upon us. The last day of the year has been beautiful, still and sunny so hopefully a sign of the way the new year will be. I'm not writing much today as I want to spend the eve as it should be spent.

It's been Christmas and the New Year hasn't started

We're right in the middle just now, a brilliant Christmas has just been and a perfect New Year is only days away. Hope that yours is as good and I wish you many more!!!
